Introduction
Welcome to the Climate Wiki, a website administered by Branch Out, a non-profit organization committed to climate action and regenerative practice. By contributing to this platform as a registered user, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to adhere to these Terms of Service (ToS).
ب Testing Phase
Please note that this platform is currently in its ب (beta) testing stage. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, there may be occasional downtime, glitches, or errors. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of this service at any time, including the suspension of user accounts and their privileges.
Administrative Guidelines
1) Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all content you post. Branch Out does not endorse or assume legal responsibility for any user-generated content.
2) Accuracy: While our mission is to facilitate climate awareness and action, we do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of user-generated content. Users are asked to engage in good faith efforts to submit accurate information and help us edit pages to improve the accuracy of Climate Wiki content.
3) Respect: Personal threats, harassment, hate speech, colonial apology, and other forms of abuse will be deleted and may result in an immediate ban.
4) Content: Illicit content, including pornography and plagiarism, will be deleted and may result in an immediate ban.
5) Climate Denial: Content that seeks to discredit, diminish, or distort the reality or urgency of the climate emergency will be deleted and may result in an immediate ban.
Moderation
Branch Out reserves the right to remove any content, suspend user privileges, and/or ban user accounts that violate the ToS. The severity and immediacy of these actions are at the sole discretion of the moderation team. Appeals may be directed to help@climatewiki.earth. Users recognize and accept the Five Pillars of Climate Wiki as the basis for moderation policy and overarching purpose of the Wiki, including all user-generated content being licensed to the public domain.
Disclaimers
Branch Out shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use or inability to use this service.
You agree to indemnify Branch Out, its affiliates, and volunteers from any claims or disputes arising out of your actions on this platform.
Changes to ToS
We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service, and may require you to sign an updated version of the Terms of Service to continue using your account.
